As the Ministry of Health (MOH) and frontliners all around the country press on to flatten the curve of Covid-19, Malaysians are doing their part by practicing social distancing at home.
In these critical times, there are also some people who are struggling to put food on their table and make ends meet. Understanding the difficult circumstances some people are in, many kindhearted Malaysians want to play their part and contribute to help the frontliners and the needy.
However, it can be a hassle to identify the relevant charity funds to make a donation as there are many newly set up funds to choose from. To help provide a guide and fill in this gap, the Charity Awareness Drive (CAD) was launched by Corvan Asia Sdn. Bhd.
They are trying to raise funds by encouraging fellow Malaysians to donate
Donating should come from the heart, but unfortunately, not many makes the first move to do so. In an effort to encourage donations directly to Mercy Malaysia, World Vision Malaysia and Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Corvan will be giving out home appliances worth more than RM10,000 including robotic vacuum mops. These are sponsored as lucky draw prizes.
According to the press statement, this charity initiative runs until 10 May 2020.
