Malaysia is notorious globally for having one of the toughest anti-drug laws in the world, with the importation, exportation, manufacturing, sale and use of dangerous drugs and substances as defined under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 strictly prohibited and can be convicted with up to the death penalty.

Well, it looks like this particular middle-aged man didn’t get this memo as get this, he was recorded allegedly at the smoking room of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 casually lighting up and smoking a ‘bong’.

Malaysians react to the viral video

It is unknown where and when the video was recorded, but it was posted on April 7. Furthermore, the nationality of the man smoking the bong is also unknown.

In the comments, many claimed that the smoking room was located at KLIA Terminal 1, with some even saying that they’d been to the smoking room countless times before.

One commenter said that the airport is KLIA Terminal 1 and pointed to the airplanes outside the smoking room to back up his claim.

Besides that, one commenter sarcastically said ‘Malaysia Boleh’ in reply to the video, while another said that the uncle is “next level” for doing such a stunt at an airport.
