Not everyone can have the chance to witness a shooting star in the sky. It is such a rare occurence that people usually associate the phenomenon with good luck, believing that those who have seen it should make a wish and it might just come true. We are not sure of the cosmic powers but to see a shooting star is an experience that is out of this world (pun intended)!
A couple of nights ago, a few people in Johor Bahru saw something that may not be a shooting star, but appears to be like a fireball zooming through the sky. The video was shared on Facebook and has gone viral. Even a few netizens mentioned that they witnessed the same phenomenon in the comments section.
The sightings were also reported on the International Meteor Organisation’s website – four of them to be exact. However, as reported by Coconuts, there were no records by NASA or the European Space Agency on anything to do with the fireball.
