Velvet is a sweet showcase of craftsmanship and storytelling, featuring luxurious chocolates filled with delicately crunchy kunafa, each flavour made to offer a contrast of texture and depth. Crafted by Sunway Resort Hotel’s pastry team, the collection balances rich chocolate profiles with the subtle crispness of kunafa, creating a refined yet satisfying sensory experience.
The five flavours include the following:
- Pistachio Kunafa (in milk chocolate)
- Hazelnut Kunafa (in dark chocolate)
- Orange Kunafa (in dark chocolate)
- Chilli Kunafa (in dark chocolate)
- Rose Lychee Kunafa (in white chocolate)
Each flavour offers its own “personality”, from nutty and aromatic to floral, citrusy and gently spiced, while remaining cohesive as a curated collection.

What truly sets Velvet apart is its artful packaging, made in collaboration with Malaysian illustrator Afi Sulaiman. The main box features an illustrated façade of Sunway Resort Hotel, while each individual chocolate sleeve showcases a different space within the hotel, transforming Velvet into both a gourmet offering and a collectible keepsake. The Pistachio Kunafa reflects the grandeur of the Grand Lobby, Hazelnut Kunafa captures the refined elegance of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, Orange Kunafa mirrors the relaxed warmth of Linkway Café, Rose Lychee Kunafa evokes the serenity of The Villas and Chilli Kunafa embodies the bold energy of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes.
