What is CFO and CCC?

Property 1

CFO stands for Certificate of Fitness for Occupation, while the CCC stands for Certificate of Completion and Compliance.

CFO is no longer given in Malaysia and is replaced by CCC instead. In layman terms, the CFO/CCC is given by authorities as a validation that the building is ready to be occupied.

Be wary and careful when looking out for properties to purchase, always look into the developer and do research on their past projects for a better understanding of the building’s safety.
