UPDATE: Sungei Wang Plaza Reopens to Customers After an Individual Allegedly Fell to Their Death

Update: A Sungei Wang Plaza representative has confirmed with WORLD OF BUZZ that the mall has been reopened to customers.

 

A person allegedly fell to their death at the famous shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, Sungei Wang Plaza, this morning (February 4).

According to a report by China Press, the identity of the deceased is still unknown and it has not been confirmed whether the person is a patron or a tenant of the mall.

Sungei Wang Plaza has also clarified that the police have since sent personnel to the scene to search for evidence and conduct investigations.

“At this time, no customers are allowed to enter the mall until the police investigation is completed, and then the security guards will allow customers to enter,” they previously shared.
