Let’s be honest, almost every person has had an “Oh no” moment of opening their exam paper and blanking out upon seeing something unfamiliar. Whether that feeling eventually dissipates with the nerves or stays throughout the paper, well, depends on each person.
A recent TikTok clip posted by Universiti Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed), an academic centre under the Universiti Malaya Chancellery, to their official page @umcced has garnered attention after they compiled reactions of their students reacting to an exam in real-time.
From confused to uncertain, stressed out, and one who had her facial thinking cap on, one student who noticed the video being taken also gave a mini-heart gesture to the camera before carrying on. The entire video also featured a remixed background song of September (1978) by disco band Earth, Wind & Fire, with the centre playfully trolling students with their expressions.
“Remember: Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do! All the best on your exams!” read the caption of the post.
Entertaining yet relatable, the variety of expressions from the students was a fairly accurate scene seen every exam season, with those who are fully prepared and others who are slowly giving up.
Receiving a funny response towards the video, a few people also expressed how they would have reacted the same way as multiple of the students in the video if they were sitting for their own test.
