In the video, the lecturers carefully explained frequently asked questions (FAQ)s about taking vaccine in various Malaysian dialects to increase awareness among the diverse Malaysian community.
What’s different and fun about these videos is that they were conveyed in six different dialects including those from Sabah, Banjar, Kelantan, Kedah, Terengganu, and Johor.
The FST lecturers from UKM came forward to show their support for Malaysia’s vaccination efforts while embedding our multi-lingual society in this approach at the same time. Prof. Dr Ishak Ahmad, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, along with UKM’s management fully supports this effort as it showcases the ideas and morals of the lecturers involved.
This amazing initiative taken by these lecturers will definitely make Malaysians from all over the country feel included and closer to home.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the university said they hope that this effort will increase vaccination registrations among Malaysians. Follow-up videos after the vaccination will be uploaded very soon on their Facebook page so stay tuned to see more of them!
We hope these videos will be useful to those who are uninformed about the vaccination process and how it works.
