Two employees who worked in Foxconn, one of the largest electronic manufacturer in the world found themselves jobless after swearing at a man who happened to be their boss.
Foxconn is a Taiwanese electronics assembly manufacturer that supplies companies like Apple and it has over a million employees so it is super rare to ever meet the company’s CEO and common for them to not know how their boss looks like.
Which by the way looks like this:
The two workers who worked in the Shenzhen factory were smoking at a non-smoking zone when Foxconn CEO, Terry Gou who happened to be there told them to put our their cigarettes.
Instead of obliging, they rudely responded to the company’s founder and chairman by saying, “Who are you? It’s none of your fucking business.”
Gou who did not take kindly to being cursed out by his employees called the factory manager to fire them.
One part of the confrontation was captured in a seven-second video that has gone viral across the Chinese internet.
The video captures Gou shouting,
“If the manager doesn’t fix you, then I will fix you. Foxconn doesn’t need workers like you.”
You think you’d pity those two but then again, they were pretty much asking for it.
