A father willingly jumped into a muddy area at the Pasar Bisik Jetty in Sungai Petani, Kedah, and left his 10-year-old son behind in an attempt to avoid being captured by the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK).
According to a report by Harian Metro, the man, believed to be a Nepalese national, fled and left his son behind because he was caught off guard by the presence of Kedah AADK personnel who were conducting a raid under the Kedah AADK Special Prevention Operation 3.0.

The man is believed to have visited the area to consume illegal substances and brought his son along. However, the man managed to escape the raid by crawling through the muddy area towards the Penang border.
“My mother is Indonesian, but she doesn’t live with us; she ran away with another man,” the 10-year-old boy told the authorities.
Multiple people were caught with drugs in their systems
Director of AADK Kedah, Khairul Anwar Ahmad, shared that a total of 35 people were found to be positive for drugs and were detained for further action.
“All those arrested were aged between 19 and 61-years-old, and 24 of them tested positive for methamphetamine and 11 others tested positive for opiate and morphine. 2 of them are women while the other 33 are men, and they were arrested under Section 3(1)(a) of the Drug Addicts (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983,” he explained.
