Are you the type of person who can only get work done if you are in a coffee shop, earphones in, pretending to be the main character?

If the answer is yes, you might want to check out these cafés for a productive day of grinding.

1. VCR Kuala Lumpur

Located at Jalan Galloway, Bukit Bintang, this VCR outlet is cosy enough to slip into work mode but not too homey that you feel like sleeping.

Although it is surrounded by other popular cafés such as Three Years Old Café and Breakfast Spot KL, it is always packed. So, you might want to go early if you want to nab a spot!

While ample plug points and seats may be a café’s way of saying, “Hey, you can chill here with your laptop and book,” we should also be considerate and know when it is time for us to leave (e.g. if there are long queues on the weekends!)

There are probably a bunch of other cafés that are work-friendly, but the above are our top picks!
