Robbers may find that burglary can be very tiring, what with the constant looking over your shoulders and carrying your haul.

For one Thai burglar, the act of crime became too much for him as he decided to take a nap in the house he was robbing, causing him to get caught.

According to The Thaiger, a 22-year-old man was detained after he had fallen asleep in a house he was robbing. The homeowner, who is a police officer, found the man asleep in his daughter’s bed.

The burglar had broken into the house at around 2am, while the officer was asleep in his room. When the officer had awakened, he noticed that the air conditioning in his daughter’s room was running, but she wasn’t at home.

Hence, he went around to her window and looked into the room to find the burglar wrapped up in her blanket, fast asleep.

The officer yelled at the burglar, who woke up drowsy and confused. He is now facing burglary and trespassing charges.

We genuinely hope that the man managed to get a good nights sleep for if convicted, he probably won’t be getting a lot of sleep in jail.
