The weather recently has been pretty unpredictable all around the country. One such instance is in and around the Ipoh area where a tree was uprooted and fell ontop of a car.
It was believed that the incident occurred because of heavy rain and thunderstorms which caused the tree to fall and land on the vehicle’s roof.
According to reports, firefighters had to cut down the tree to get the 47-year-old woman and her son out when they arrived.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department operation officer Mohd Rozairi Abdul Rahim said both victims suffered minor injuries and were brought to a private hospital by a member of the public.
Mohd Rozairi said the Ipoh City Council had been informed about the matter to assist in removing the tree off the road.
We hope that the duo are safe and sound and have a speedy recovery.
