A lucky general practitioner (GP) from Penang became a millionaire shortly after his wedding anniversary recently. The 53-year-old GP hit the Toto Jackpot 1st prize on March 29 and walked away with RM11,768,682.70.

According to Kwong Wah, the man’s winning 4D numbers were 4486 and 5704 which can be found on the receipt from his candlelight dinner with his wife when they celebrated their wedding anniversary recently.

The man noticed the numbers on the receipt and decided to bet on them.

He was also quoted as saying, “Now I finally understand why there is a Chinese saying, ‘People who love their wives will prosper’.”

After learning that he was the jackpot winner, the man showed up with his wife to claim the prize. They also thanked Toto for the wonderful wedding anniversary gift.

Additionally, on top of the RM11.7 million that the GP won, he also received an additional RM336 due to the betting system he used.

When asked about his plans for the money, the man said that he plans to share his winnings with his siblings and save the rest for his children’s future expenses.
