I want a best friend like this, too!

Friends take up an important aspect of our lives, and friends who are willing to go out of their way to cheer you up are really hard to come by. Recently, a Malaysian girl Ariana who booked the entire cinema to surprise her bestie made us realise the definition of a friendship goal.

In her TikTok video, Ariana said that she is going to surprise her bestie by booking the entire cinema hall. “I already bought the tickets but I am just going to tell her that we are going to eat,” she said.

She also shared that her bestie wanted to watch a movie with her alone, which is why she proceeded to buy all the tickets to the hall for the movie Top Gun.

Responding to a comment asking how did she manage to rent the hall, she answered, “Actually, I don’t know how to rent a hall, so I went and bought the seats online, RM22 per seat. I only bought the last four rows because I’m sure that no one would want to buy the front two rows of seats.”.

She said that she purchased the tickets for 70 seats in total, and paid RM1600. Although some netizens are impressed, some also pointed out that it is too expensive, and she may be able to rent the entire hall for a cheaper price, depending on the cinemas.

Responding to comments saying that the act was a waste of money, she defended herself, saying that she rarely buys anything for the bestie, so this is like an accumulated present for her bestie of 10 years.
