Malaysians truly miss going out and exploring our own city because of the Covid-19 Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
While some Malaysians stubbornly try their luck at hanging out outdoors, others prefer to stay at home and build virtual Malaysian cities.
Yusri Haneef took to the MineCraft Malaysia Facebook Group to showcase his version of KLCC and its surroundings that he created in the game, Minecraft. He made the structures based on Google street view images of the iconic Malaysian towers.
He wrote, “The progress of Suria KLCC. Almost the same. The challenge now is the roof on top of the shopping mall. It has art up there, on top of that it has a dome. That the hard part. It’s taking quite some time.”
Of course, Malaysians who saw this were amazed and complimented how incredible this was. We are equally amazed!
It’s really cool to see how creative our Malaysian brothers and sisters are as they spend their time recreating our favourite local spots while safely at home.
We wish Yusri the best of luck as he tries his hand at completing the dome on top of the shopping mall.
We can’t wait to see the end product!
