A saleswoman is in desperate need of RM45,000 to help pay for her premature son’s treatment.

Based on a report by Harian Metro, 32-year-old Nurazani Ahmadon’s son was born safely 2 weeks ago, but unfortunately, he was diagnosed with incomplete lung growth.

“This is because the doctor found that my child swallowed meconium, or his own feces while in the womb, causing his lungs to be in critical condition due to being infected with germs,” she shared.

Her son, who currently weighs 2.1kgs, is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit for infants (NICU) and requires treatments that cost up to RM50,000.

“I only work as a salesperson in a supermarket, with an income of RM2,250 a month,”

“Thinking about the very high cost of treatment caused me to be deadlocked, moreover, I only managed to collect RM5,000 before asking for help from the One Hope Charity and Welfare to help raise the remaining funds for my son,” she said.

On top of that, Nurazani’s husband had also abandoned her and the baby.

“Her husband works at the same supermarket as her, with a salary of RM1,350. She thought that having a child would enhance her relationship with her husband, but she never expected that her husband to give her the cold shoulder, and eventually ignore her and the baby after she became pregnant, which broke her heart,”

“And now, she only hopes that the baby can get out of danger and she is ready to raise the child alone in the future. So, she begs the public to help her in saving her baby,” One Hope Charity and Welfare shared in a Facebook post.

Datuk Chua Sui Hau, the Chairman of One Hope Charity and Welfare, shared that his organisation agreed to help launch the fundraiser to cover the cost and manage the treatment for the baby.

They have currently raised up to RM48% of the total needed, so let’s all help chip in so that the little baby can receive the treatment he needs.

If you are interested in contributing to the fund, you can check out One Hope Charity and Welfare’s website here.

We’re praying for you, little baby.
