Just recently, the globally acclaimed Forbes Travel Guide unveiled its list of winners, honouring one of our very own with a 5-star rating award!
The hotel in question is none other than Crockfords at Resorts World Genting, making it among the 210 hotels around the world to be honoured with this prestigious ranking. It’s also the first and only Malaysian hotel to receive this award.
An excerpt from Forbes Travel Guide’s review of Crockfords reads,
“The emphasis on luxury is found in the details, from the plush comfort and design of the 140 rooms and suites to the impeccable service from friendly and helpful staff.”
“All accommodations provide unobstructed views of the surrounding mountainous landscape, allowing you to take in the stunning sunrise without getting out of bed.”
“Despite its prime location adjacent to SkyAvenue — a mega lifestyle mall that houses SkyCasino and Skytropolis Funland indoor theme park — the hotel’s discreet entrance ensures it remains very much a hidden gem. It’s a tranquil retreat from the ever-bustling crowd next door.”
Featuring 111 Superior Rooms, 18 Signature Suites (with 3 different themes!), and 8 Junior Suites, Crockfords’ rooms are all equipped with one-touch technology that allows guests to control their entire room with the simple push of a button.
According to EdgeProp, executive vice president of leisure & hospitality at Resorts World Genting expressed the hotel’s gratitude for receiving such a prestigious award. An excerpt from his press release reads,
“We at Resorts World Genting are thrilled that Crockfords has been recognised by the Forbes Travel Guide in their recent announcement of the 2019 award.”
“…this award is great, not just for us, but for Malaysia as well. It is an affirmation that Malaysia, as a destination, has luxury service on par with the world’s best, with service and standards that meet the highest level of demands.”
Well, we can definitely see why this hotel deserves such a prestigious award!
