It is crucial for us to express our gratitude to all the frontliners and doctors amidst this Covid-19 pandemic.
Persatuan Kebajikan Awam Malaysia, a non-governmental organisation has recently built a 21.1 feet (approximately 6.4 meters) tall statue of a doctor using only recycled materials. The statue is dedicated to all the frontliners who have worked long and hard throughout this Covid-19 pandemic.
“Thank you! This sculpture is dedicated to you for your restless nights and never forgetting those lives that are lost while saving others. Thank you for being our unwitting heroes,” Persatuan Kebajikan Awam Malaysia shared to WORLD OF BUZZ.
The magnificent statue, called Dr.T, took six weeks of hard work and commitment to build.
Some even had to overcome their acrophobia and climbed all the way to the top to finish it. Thankfully, all that hard work eventually paid off and Dr.T made it into the Malaysian Book of Records 2020!
Persatuan Kebajikan Awam Malaysia was founded by Mr.Marimuthu Nagappen and Mr.Hashwin Marimuthu (President of Persatuan Kebajikan Awam Malaysia). The statue is now located in Kg.Baru Kundang Rawang, Selangor.
Congratulations to all the makers of Dr.T and thank you frontliners!
