During Malaysian Festivities such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Deepavali, many would give angpaus to their family members.

As this year is the first year that our Muslim friends will be celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri after 2 years of being in the lockdown, it is understandable that they would want to go all out.

We recently chanced upon some really creative (pandemic-themed) duit raya envelopes on Facebook and it definitely made us cackle. Without further ado, let’s look at some of the more creative ones.

Duit Raya Envelopes

Well, we’re no strangers to medication during the pandemic and it would be apt to write “Take this money to buy Panadol” on the back of the envelope.

Air tickets are still expensive so these envelopes will have to do.

Of course, the creme de la creme is the MySejahtera-themed envelopes. You can choose which page you want, either the check-in page or the vaccination certificate page.

Truly a sign of the times.

Or if you prefer more minimalistic ones, there are always these black ones.

“Only those with 3 doses can open this”, “It’s Raya 2022 and you’re still single”. Ouch, we felt that!

A netizen has said that they would definitely keep these envelopes if she receives them.

Well, we would too but only after taking out the money that’s inside, that’s the most important thing!

The envelopes are purchasable here (MySejahtera theme etc) and here (minimalist black).

What other quirky ones have you seen? Let us know in the comments!
