Malaysian are lovely people, especially when it comes to helping out others in need.

To spread much-needed positivity, several uncles in Kuching, Sarawak went on to spread the Chinese New Year cheer to the masses when they went out and gave angpows to those who need it the most in Satok.

Taking to social media, @madermn writes, “I just saw a group of Chinese Pakciks giving away angpow and food to a blind Makcik selling tissues in front of a store.”

“It is Chinese New Year today. God bless you, pakciks.”

Bless their hearts.

Netizens commenting on the video commended the uncles for strengthening our beliefs about what being Malaysian is all about.

One netizen pointed out that even during the pandemic, disabled persons in our country are made to work just to make a living.

“It is just sad that the disabled who live in poverty have to make a living off of selling tissues in the middle of the pandemic.”

“What’s, even more, worse is the fact that some work for a syndicate and are subjected to abuse.”

The key takeaway from this is we hope that many out there, including you and me, will be inspired to do our part in making the world a better place for everyone.
