Jay Chou’s concert on Sunday night (January 15) was a huge success, with many of his fans showing “extra” excitement during the show while singing along.
The Facebook page 翻转大马吃喝玩乐 Eat Pray Love recently shared snippets of a few fans who got tremendously excited when they had the chance to personally talk to Jay Chou, who was on the stage and allowed “the chosen one” to select a song from him. Here are the few lucky people who had an unforgettable night during the concert.
The moment she trembled
The first lucky fan trembled as Jay Chou spoke to her, and while it is unclear if she actually teared, it’s clear that she was trembling out of excitement. She then excitedly selected a song from her idol.
“This is my favorite song of yours among all, 最長的電影 (The Longest Movie)!”
The girl, along with most of the fans at the scene sang along, and we can say that and some point, the voices of the happy fans “overpowered” Jay Chou himself.
“I love you deep deep, Jay Chou!”
The second lucky fan didn’t waste his time expressing his feeling towards his pop idol.
“愛你深深!! (Love you deep deep!!),” the man happily screamed.
The man, who identified himself as Lim was clearly delighted when Jay Chou had his attention on him, as when Lim was asked about his age, he responded to Jay Chou with something irrelevant. However, lucky Lim got to select his favourite song from Jay Chou – 菊花台 Chrysanthemum Terrace, and of course, everyone sang along.
Steady, girl!
The 3rd lucky fan, who is perhaps the calmest among all, told Jay Chou that she spent her childhood and teen years listening to his songs. This time, the calmest lucky fan got Jay Chou a little “nervous” on the stage. She initially selected 七里香 Common Jasmine Orange but later changed to 浪漫手機 Romantic Cellphone, which stunned Jay Chou for a bit.
“Do I even have this song?” he asked the fans.
Regardless, the pop idol continued to fulfil her request and sang the song.
“Happy Birthday, Jay Chou”
A woman managed to grab the microphone and cried a little out of excitement. After introducing herself, she wished Jay an advanced Happy Birthday, as he is expected to celebrate his 44th birthday tomorrow (January 18).
This time, Jay got to take a quick break. Instead of singing, his fans got to sing a birthday song to him. The woman then selected her desired track, 回到過去 Return to the Past, to which Jay happily sang.
