Animals are very unpredictable creatures, and just when you think you’ve seen it all, new videos crop up showing animals appearing in places other than their typical habitats.

Sensing something out of the ordinary, one netizen began to record a strange phenomenon when he witnessed fish flopping about on the road.

Weird right?

Here is the video.

Shared by Facebook page The Batu Pahat, the footage which was taken nearby OUM at Jalan Ampuan, Johor witnessed a school of fish flopping about.

In the video, the netizen explained, “It is raining heavily now in Batu Pahat. One thing that astounds me is that there is fish on the road. Not one, but a few.”

Several netizens commenting on the video pointed out that the fish found were known as Ikan Puyu or Perch. The fish commonly found in freshwater can live without water for an extended period of time.

Let’s hope that the existence of perch in places where they are not supposed to be is not an indication of rampant pollution in the area.
