The plot thickens!

A few days ago, the nation was thrown into a huge political controversy-drama as a man who goes by the name Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz revealed that he was one of the participants in the sex video that has been going viral.

What’s huge about this alleged incident is that; first thing’s first: homosexuality is frowned upon in Malaysia; and secondly: it involves a Cabinet minister and Haziq whom is the deputy minister’s aide.

Now, his father has released a statement saying that the man in the video is not his son, as reported by The Star.

“I watched both the confession and the lewd videos. The latter appears to be shady, and I don’t think that’s my son.

“I was analysing the video, looking at his posture, his movement and his tone, hoping it was fake,” he said to the Sun.

He still believes that is wasn’t his son in the video and was shocked that Haziq would even say such a statement. The father, who’s aged 53, says that his son is straight, and not gay.

Haziq previously confessed that he was the man involved in the sex scandal, and that the video was taken without his permission during the Sandakan by-election in Four Points Hotel.

A majority of netizens are skeptical about this case – saying that this is a very shady political tactic to throw at the public. Shame!

Well, we’ll see in the next few days if anything else comes out of this. What are you guys’ opinion on the case? Do you think it was Haziq in the video or nah? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section!
