Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition in June 2023, the highly-anticipated The Knights Award Season 2 was finally announced today at a press conference in Chakri Raintree Skybar, Sri Hartamas. The Ennoblement Ceremony was revealed to take place at W Kuala Lumpur in December this year, with nominations currently underway for this prestigious accolade.

Various high-profile business organisations and influential public figures attended today’s press conference, including Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ong Tee Keat, The Knights Award Special Advisor and President of the Malaysia-China Silk Route Business Chamber. The Knights Award has been commended by Tan Sri Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, the Father of Malaysian Economic Development who also serves as the Royal Patron of The Knights Award, for giving exceptional businesses the recognition they deserve and fostering meaningful relationships.

“I am particularly pleased to see that this award recognises diversity, an essential component of any successful business ecosystem,” said Tengku Razaleigh. “By honouring achievers from various fields, The Knights Award not only celebrates their individual accomplishments but also highlights the importance of cross-industry and cross-border collaborations.”

As part of The Knights Award’s mission to establish an elite nexus of leaders who strive for the success of the business community, the press conference witnessed the signing of three historical Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs). These key partnerships include:

  • The Knights Award x Malaysia-China Silk Route Business Chamber: To facilitate the proud winners of The Knights Award in international market expansion, especially in China.
  • The Knights Award x Influasia Sdn Bhd: To enhance exposure and visibility of award winners through Malaysia’s premier media platform.
  • The Knights Award x Chamrun Digital Group: To support award winners in their digital transformation efforts to improve competitiveness in the technological era.

Since its very first season, The Knights Award showcased 70 illustrious stories from across Asia, illustrating the contribution nominees made to the development of their nation and the world. And with Season 2 on the way, Malaysians can expect even more inspiring stories of triumph and dedication to draw motivation and revelations from.

The Knights Award not only recognises excellence but also fosters networking and business opportunities for entrepreneurs, with the award winners receiving valuable branding strategies to enhance their brand positioning in the market. Moreover, the elite networking platform encourages cross-border and cross-industry collaborations, providing valuable exposure and joint success opportunities. The branding strategy continues even after the ennoblement ceremony, ensuring ongoing support for every winner.

With the support of famous icons and organisations locally and internationally, The Knights Award ensures their ennoblement process is conducted rigorously and transparently under the supervision of the Council of Lords and the Chamber of Chiefs.

“We are excited to launch this second chapter of The Knights Award, given how it has successfully united all inspiring businesses to make a difference in the community since the preceding chapter,” said Dr. Zyro Wong, the President of The Knights Award. “Malaysia and the entire region are bound to witness even greater ideas coming to life following this upcoming new chapter of The Knights Award.”
