After discovering this chocolate-y malted drink in 2020, the Japanese simply cannot get enough of it.
After going viral and was completely sold out last year, which led to a 700% sales boom and a shortage, the Japanese have more reason to celebrate as Tokyo has recently opened its own Nestle beverage stand at the Odakyu line platform in Machida Station.
Taking to Twitter, one netizen shared their experience ordering and enjoying Malaysia’s favourite malt drink.
“There is a Milo bar on the Machida Station Odakyu Line platform.”
“I tried it immediately.”
The tweet shared that a cup of original Nestle Milo was priced at JPY200 (RM7.15).
But they have something we don’t – fruit flavoured Milo!
It was also shared by the netizen, that this Milo kiosk offers Milo with added fruit such as banana, kiwi and pineapple.
Costing a whopping JPY300 a cup, Milo is definitely more premium than say, Dalgona coffee in Japan.
Another shop, Nescafe Harajuku in Shibuya will also serve Milo for a limited period of time.
Still, they haven’t tasted Milo Dinosaur in Malaysia yet!
