By now, many Malaysians are familiar with the infamous mansion located in Bukit Gasing. If you haven’t heard of it, the mansion, otherwise known as the SG house, was allegedly named after its owner, Sanjay Gill. Rumours were circulating that Sanjay had a heart attack after finding out that his wife killed his mistress while others said that he committed suicide due to his business going downhill.
Regardless of the rumours, just over a month ago, an auction site announced that the SG mansion will be auctioned off in December. It was reported that over 5 years ago, the house was listed but due to the history it has, nobody has bought it.
However, according to Selangor Auction Property, it appears that the house has been sold to a single bidder this morning.
The mansion was auctioned at RM4.4 million, but the identity of the buyer remains unknown. Following the news many Malaysians are shocked to see that the house was successfully sold off as it has been vacant for more than 2 decades.
A netizen jokingly said that since the haunted house has been sold, if they start working on the house now, there’ll be interesting campfire stories by 7th month next year.
Another netizen speculates that it could be a developer who bid the house and would then proceed to scrap it, buy more land around the house and build a condo. That way, people will forget that there are ghosts.
This netizen thinks that the bidder has a lot of courage.
Regardless if the rumours are true, it’s good to see that a fresh start is on its way and hopefully, the land will be put into good use.
