Anime fans, come forth! The anime phenomenon of the decade, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is coming back to a cinema near you and promises to be bigger and more intense than ever!

The ultimate battle begins — catch the final showdown between demons and slayers in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, coming to cinemas this 14 August!

DSIC KV 1SHT

Picking up from where the latest anime series season left off, this movie continues the adventure of the Kamado siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with their allies in the Demon Slayer Corps during their centuries-long war against demons. Here’s what viewers can expect from this animated epic:

1. Epic swordfights that you’ve come to expect from the Demon Slayer series

Love the gripping battles seen in the Demon Slayer manga and anime series? Then expect a lot more of it in the Infinity Castle movie! The adapted Infinity Castle arc will showcase more intense fights, never-before-seen techniques by the characters, and higher stakes for the Demon Slayers. Countless anime series boast extraordinary fight scenes, but few can even hold a candle to the scale of Demon Slayer’s compelling action sequences!

Our advice for viewers: Don’t chow down all of your popcorn in one go during a battle scene!

2. A visual treat by the famous Ufotable studio

This cinematic piece is made by Ufotable, the studio known for works such as God Eater and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, which are two out of many works known for their use of high-production digital effects and strong visuals. For this movie, every slash and clang of the characters’ swords will be expertly animated by this famous studio. Plus, the titular Infinity Castle will be skillfully depicted by the animation team as a reality-bending nightmare for the heroes, making for an overall absolute spectacle for viewers!

3. Viewers can see Tanjiro and his friends’ training pay off

Fans have witnessed Tanjiro and his friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke, get stronger and unlock new abilities through their Breathing Techniques. Now with their extensive experience fighting demons after joining the Demon Slayer Corps, plus the guidance of various Hashira members, they’re ready to take on the most powerful demons within the Infinity Castle realm.

To add, Tanjiro’s sister-turned-demon has gained immunity against sunlight, a trait no other demons share. With her newfound immunity, she could be the key to defeating demons entirely.

4. The Hashira members will conclude their character arcs

Besides the danger and intensity, the movie will also conclude the personal arcs of the Hashira. The Infinity Castle arc is the final major story arc before the highly anticipated final battle against the Demon King Muzan, and will feature significant character development and resolution for many of the highest-ranking Demon Slayers. In a sense, you might find the Hashira battling their own personal demons in the movie, too!

From its visual appeal to its engaging storyline, this Japanese animation feast HAS to be experienced while it’s still in cinemas! Whether you’re a Demon Slayer fanatic or are a casual moviegoer, you’ll thank yourself for immersing in the Infinity Castle experience on the big screen!
