There has been a rise in road accidents involving motorcyclists recently, some of which sadly involve fatalities.
Hence, that is why many Malaysians are raising concerns over a recent viral video involving what looks like underage teenage Malaysians riding without helmets in the middle of the highway.
Shared by Andy Low on Facebook, the post has garnered over 1,200 shares in just over 1 day.
In the video, believed to be recorded on Sunday (22 October) in Selayang, at least 3 teenagers riding on 2 separate motorcycles can be seen going at fast speeds without wearing any helmets.
What’s most visible in the photos and video shared by the Facebook user is the two teenagers riding on a green motorcycle, whereby the passenger riding at the back can be seen struggling with the wind as the bike goes at high speed.

In the comments, many asked where the teenagers’ parents were and whether they knew that their sons were riding dangerously on the road.
Furthermore, the comments section was also filled with commenters tagging the Road Transport Department (JPJ), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and even Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook.
