Tech Prodigies From M’sian Primary School Triumph in 2023 Minecraft Challenge

Two young tech wizards from SK Putrajaya Presint 8 (1), Mohammad Parsa Parhizkar (10 years old) and his little brother Mohammad Rohan Parhizkar (8 years old), have achieved an outstanding victory in the 2023 Minecraft Education Challenge. Organized by Microsoft and Sunway Mall, the competition drew participation from 188 schools and received over 3,500 submissions nationwide.

The brothers’ remarkable success at the national level competition highlights their passion for technology and sustainable mall design, positioning them as budding pioneers in the tech world.

Their achievements serve as a testament to the boundless potential of young minds when equipped with the right tools and a forward-thinking perspective.

The Minecraft Education Challenge 2023, supported by Microsoft Malaysia, Microsoft Global Training Partner Fedelis, Sunway Malls, and the Ministry of Education Malaysia, welcomed students aged 7 to 17 years from various educational backgrounds. This year’s theme, “Sustainable Shopping Mall of the Future,” encouraged participants to envision a future where technology, sustainability, and education converge.

The tech prodigies demonstrated an impressive fusion of Minecraft’s immersive world-building capabilities with their vision of sustainable mall designs, showcasing eco-friendliness, energy efficiency, and cutting-edge technology integration.

The competition was a celebration of youthful talent and innovation, providing a platform for young minds to envision a more sustainable and technologically advanced future. The tech-savvy primary school brothers have earned a well-deserved spotlight as one of the standout successes of the Minecraft Education Challenge 2023, underscoring the importance of nurturing innovative thinking among the youth.

This department serves as a cornerstone in shaping the intellectual growth of young individuals, with a primary goal of furnishing students in Putrajaya with a well-rounded and pioneering education that equips them with the essential competencies to excel in our progressively digital and technology-driven society.
