The best naps are the ones where you gain imprints on your face from random objects that were lying around you. But maybe not an imprint of a cicak. Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk.

Recently, a tweet containing two simple pictures had gone viral on Twitter. The pictures may be limited but it still tells a lot.

Looking at both pictures, it’s not difficult to piece two and two together. The boy who looks half-asleep with bleary eyes had probably taken a little nap on his study table while doing his homework. However, it is evident that there is a cicak imprint on his cheek. The imprint seems to have been caused by a cicak which was in the boy’s exercise book. The boy had inadvertently slept on it and squashed it flat.

This series of photos was originally posted on a Taiwanese page named “The King of Hualien” back in May 2020.

Malaysians who saw this series of photos from @menlin_fitri expressed their general dislike towards lizards while others found it funny. A few of them cracked the usual “cicak man” jokes.

Well, the little boy must have been very sleepy to the point that he did not realise that he was sleeping on the lizard! We hope that the cicak at least died painlessly.
