Travelling all the way from Johor, Muar Member of Parliament (MP) Syed Saddiq made the journey with a simple but meaningful intention: to personally meet the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He brought along freshly baked festive cookies prepared by Bella Astillah and presented them directly to the Prime Minister.
He recounted how, just the week before, he had missed an opportunity to meet the Prime Minister during the lively Absolute Fest. While others, including actress Bella Astillah, were able to attend and connect, he had been occupied with a live-selling session, working alongside a brand to earn additional income.
“Today, I finally got to personally deliver the festive cookies that Bella made. Freshly baked, straight out of the oven,” the Muar MP shared.
“Me? I only managed to sprinkle some cherries on top… and honestly, that already counts as the peak of my talent,” he remarked humorously in his Instagram post.
Beyond the light-hearted moments, the meeting carried deeper significance. He expressed genuine appreciation for Anwar’s willingness to share advice and engage in discussions regarding current national and global issues.
Growing speculation of wedding bells
While the public is well aware of the blossoming relationship between Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah, the pair has yet to announce a formal engagement or wedding date. However, the situation shifted after Bella commented on the Muar MP’s previous Instagram post, stating she couldn’t wait for the day after Hari Raya.
Speculation regarding their nuptials resurfaced after the Prime Minister was reportedly heard asking Bella Astillah for an invitation during their meeting at the Absolute Fest last weekend. Today (19 March), Bella posted a photo with Syed Saddiq on her social media, sparking even more curiosity about a potential post-Raya date.
More than Kuih Raya?
The visit appeared to be more than a simple delivery; many Malaysians are now guessing that the Muar MP’s visit was intended to personally invite Anwar to his wedding. With one hint following another, online excitement has been building, and fans are convinced there is more behind the visit than meets the eye.
