Living life with a missing father and an imprisoned mother must be tough for Muhammad. With only his grandmother tending to him, it deprived Muhammad of the life a child his age deserves.
Wanting to make a change, Syed Saddiq took to Twitter and shared the story of how Malaysians stepped up to the plate and did all they can to help ease Muhammad’s burden.
“Adik Muhammad lives with his grandmother, while his mother is imprisoned for a drug related case.”
“Through crowdfunding, we have collected RM22k, and this is how I took it upon me to help Muhammad, by depositing RM1ok into his SSPN account, RM2k for necessities and RM10k for his daily learning needs.”
“This is the best way I know to help him as he is still too little to handle cash.”
“In terms of education we want to place him in a boarding school, where his needs will be cared for. This is what his grandmother wanted too.”
With a resolve to help even more out there, let’s hope that it will change the luck of Muhammad and others like him, with much-needed help from people like Syed Saddiq.
