The Movement Control Order (MCO) has been put in place to control the movement of Malaysians and prevent the spread of COVID-19, and it is certainly become a hassle for Malaysia’s fitness society.

Without access to gyms, parks and fitness establishments at the moment, many are going back to basics by simply working out at home, including former Youth and Sports Minister @SyedSaddiq himself.

Wanting to promote fitness while staying at home, he posted a video of himself performing 20 clap pushups and challenged Malaysians to do the same under the hashtag #stayathomechallenge.

Accompanying the video, Syed Saddiq posted this for the benefit of all Malaysians, “20 clap pushups in 17 seconds. Can you?”

Challenge accepted, sir!

Here are videos of those who have taken up the challenge!

This netizen accepted the challenge with the caption, “Challenge accepted. This is boring. Are there any more?”

Cheh, berlagak.

Here is another attempt that was done by another netizen which got the attention of Syed Saddiq himself.

The netizen writes, “It ain’t the best, but it is pretty solid for someone with a 120kg bodyweight.”

This was later responded by Syed Saddiq who writes, “Not bad! Almost there.”

So, if you’re looking for things to do during the MCO why not take up the challenge and post the video of it on Syed Saddiq’s tweet?
