Taking to TikTok, SWCorp officers recently swarmed a house in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, after reports of a hoarder were reported in the area.
A nuisance and can potentially cause rising public health concerns, this officer classified this case as critical, which reminded her of a case not long ago in Cheras.
Understanding that the hoarder was living alone, the officer gathered information from the individual’s next-door neighbour, who confirmed the information they had.
“Hello, is anyone home? We need to enter. If not, we are forced to call the police and help us gain entry,” said an officer.
Full of plastic and many other items, the officers began roaming the compound to see if anyone was home.
To no avail, the video simply ended with officers needing to come back for another inspection.
Netizens commenting on the TikTok video began making reports of their own.
“Honestly. This is still ok because alot of the items are well-placed. Some other people’s house are much worse.”
Here is a video of the officers taken at the scene to see how extensive this hoarding case was.
We sincerely hope the authorities can help sort this individual’s home out.
