Following the recent rise in Covid-19 cases in Malaysia, several malls in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur have reported positive cases on their premises.
Previously, it was reported that an employee from KL Gateway Mall who returned from Sabah was suspected to be Covid-19 positive. Yesterday (27 September 2020), KL Gateway Mall released a statement informing that the respective employee has tested negative for Covid-19.
KL Gateway Mall also ensures that the safety and well-being of its customers are the mall’s utmost priority and that the routine cleaning and disinfection process will be continued.
Malaysia’s Covid-19 cases rose to 150 new cases as of yesterday (27 September 2020), with Sabah having the most cases out of all states. The Ministry of Health has also made that the decision to implement the Administratively Tightened Movement Control Order (TEMCO) in the Sabah beginning midnight tonight (29 September 2020).
