Thousands of Malaysians are expected to gather at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, tonight (8 October) for the “Himpunan Solidariti Bersama Gaza” rally.
In conjunction with the event, Rapid KL will extend its train services tonight, and the LRT Bukit Jalil station, which serves the venue, will be operational until 12:30 AM.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also scheduled to attend the rally, posted about the event on his social media yesterday (7 October), and encouraged Malaysians to take part both to support Palestine and celebrate activists who participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) mission to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza.

Several key interchange stations across the Kelana Jaya, Ampang/Sri Petaling, Monorail, Kajang, and Putrajaya lines will also remain open later than usual, and you can refer to the image below.

Rapid KL also said that other stations will close as per business hours, but commuters are allowed to disembark at their respective stations
For a smooth journey, Rapid KL advises all commuters to ensure enough balance in their Touch ‘n Go cards before taking the train. As for those who will be purchasing the tokens, Rapid KL reminds them to get the two-way token, as shared in its official statement.
The Himpunan Solidariti Bersama Gaza will kickstart tonight at 8 PM, and all Malaysians are welcome to the event. If you are attending, be sure to follow the rules of the event and stay safe.
