The man, the myth, the legend. The one who we grew up with either watching him attempting amazing tricks on the ramp or playing his Tony Hawk Pro Skater game on a console. At 52, he is still doing what he does best and putting so many of us to shame.
Recently Tony Hawk posted a video of him successfully pulling off probably his last 720. He tweeted,
“I recently made a 720 and it was a battle. The last one I made before this was three years ago, and it’s much harder now all things considered; recently dislocated fingers hinder my grab, my spin is slower so I need to go higher for full rotation and I’m really old.”
From the video, you can see him pushing himself even though he failed the first few attempts. After putting in the effort, he finally managed to pull it off. Mr Hawk explained that this might not be the last one but he can’t imagine doing many more anytime soon.

For someone aged 52, it is impressive that he could pull off such a difficult trick. Well, who knows, he might be attempting the historic 900 in the near future. One could only hope!
