Yup, this really happened!

According to Today Online, a 50-year-old Singaporean sales manager named Peter Lee decided to undergo breast reduction surgery after failing to get rid of his man boobs through intensive diet and exercise.

Peter has managed to maintain his impressive 81cm (32-inch) waistline for the past 20 years thanks to his rigorous workout routine.

However, despite his trim physique, Peter has always opted for loose-fitting T-shirts because he has developed a pair of man boobs. They developed due to pockets of fat accumulating in the areas below and on the side of his nipples.

“The rest of my body was in great shape, but that just made the moobs (man boobs) more obvious.”

“They weren’t huge, but there was a noticeable jiggle when I ran. I hated it, and even started wearing baggier T-shirts to the gym.”

Despite trying his best to get rid of his man boobs by exercising and maintaining a healthy diet, they still remained on his chest. So, about three months ago, he decided to go through a fat-freezing procedure to get rid of them once and for all.

Peter’s non-invasive breast reduction procedure reportedly cost SGD$1,500 (approximately RM4,600) and successfully got rid of about 35 to 40 per cent of the fat.

Happy with the results, Peter wants to go through the procedure a second time to “finish the job”, saying,

“I’m definitely more comfortable jogging in a T-shirt or wearing a singlet at the gym now. I don’t even mind going swimming any more.”

Interestingly enough, there appears to be a lot of men who go through breast reduction procedures!

Enlarged breasts in men are medically known as gynecomastia, and some studies have suggested that one in three men have them.

In recent times, the stigma surrounding cosmetic surgery has died down since society has become more open compared to before. This is probably why there’s been more men undergoing breast reduction surgery.

Some cases of man boobs are reportedly so big that they can even fill out a B-cup!

Wow! Who knew this was so common?
