A 15-year-old girl was looking for ways to earn more pocket money and decided to post an online ad offering her services for modelling opportunities.
Moh Yan Chung, a business development manager saw her ad and contacted her, requesting for a “private session” back in December 2011.

He told her that he could give her an hourly rate of more than S$100 (RM314) for sexual services, depending on what she was willing to do.
The pair met up between 22 and 24 December 2011 where the girl told him she would not engage in any unnatural sex acts.
However, she was taken by Moh to places such as multi-level car parks where they proceeded to get intimate at the back of his car or sometimes even on staircases. As their affair continued, he would take her to different apartments, hotels and his own home in Jurong West to engage in sexual acts.
She was eventually persuaded to engage in a threesome with Moh’s friend during a flat viewing in Queensway after Moh coaxed her into doing so by telling her that she could make more money. That encounter cost the two men s$150 (RM471) each.
Knowing that she was below 18, Moh frequently made elaborate plans to conduct these illicit trysts to avoid detection.
The girl was paid between s$150 (RM471) and S$350 (RM1099) after each encounter.
This continued for some time until she got into a serious relationship and and told Moh she wanted to stop but he wouldn’t let her, claiming that he would expose her if she did so.
She had no choice but to continue with their trysts. Finally on December 2013, she couldn’t take it anymore and confessed to her then boyfriend. He broke up with her but he advised her to make a police report about the issue.
She decided to stop meeting up with Moh but he continued harassing her and stalking her by contacting at least five of her friends.
He threatened the girl saying that he would “bring her along” if she exposed him and told her friends about her sexual activities. On 17 March 2014, the victim who is 21 this year, lodged a police report on the 40-year-old Moh. He was sentenced to 22 months of jail for five charges of commercial sex with a minor and unlawful stalking.
Moh is a married man with a two-year-old child and based on his charges, he could be jailed for up to seven years and/or fined on each charge of paid sex with a person under 18 years old.
