Adrenaline junkies, take note!

There’s something new and exciting debuting in Singapore this August and it’s bound to get your adrenaline rushing like no other. As you may have already heard, the first ever bungee tower started construction in 2016 and the operator has recently announced that they will be ready for their first thrill-seekers in August.

The exciting outdoor activity zone is known as AJ Hackett Sentosa and is brought to us by global bungee operator, AJ Hackett International. A 50-metre custom-built tower was constructed at Siloso Beach, Sentosa, which equals to a height of 14 stories, but that’s not all the tower is housing. There’s more surprises in store!

The activity zone will also have the world’s first dual giant swings where two groups can experience the thrill of rushing to the ground at speeds of more than 100km/h and if that’s not enough to get your heart pumping, there’s the vertical skywalk. Perhaps not a good place for those with a fear of heights or maybe now’s the time to overcome that fear!

Visitors will get to act like Spider-Man, as they walk 44 metres vertically down the centre of the tower. Since we are not blessed with the same kind of spidey powers, guests will be supported by static ropes, which are similar to the ones used in military training. Yes, it’s safe!

However, if you like the feeling of something more substantial under your feet, perhaps the open-air bridge could be your cup of tea, although that is situated at a height of 50 metres and has glass floors, so it would be just as much of an adrenaline trip as well and offers a bird’s-eye view of the bungee jumpers having exhilarating fun.

Rest assured that you will be in good hands at this adventurous activity zone though, as AJ Hackett is one of the world’s largest bungee operators for more than 28 years and takes the safety of their visitors very seriously. They have a track record of zero major accidents and have clocked over four million jumps so far.

According to the Smart Local, prices for the attractions are S$99 (RM619) for the Bungee Jump, S$79 (RM245) for the Giant Swing, S$59 (RM183) for the Vertical Skywalk and S$10 (RM31) for the Skybridge. Are you ready for a heart-pumping adventure yet? I know I am!

Throw in your bids to be one of the first to visit this awesome attraction as AJ Hackett is now holding an auction prior to the opening for the first few pioneers who will be making history with them. You can visit their website for more information.

They will be announcing their opening dates for the fun-filled activity zone soon, so stay tuned!
