In an effort to help their mother and father earn money, two siblings in Perak have been selling Asam Laksa in front of Maybank at Parit Buntar.

A passerby who came across the siblings was moved at the sight and decided to buy some for herself.

“This afternoon my little heart was touched to see these two siblings looking for income to help their mother and father,” the individual said.

Thank God their laksa is really delicious. I’ve bought it 2 times.”

She then urges those in the Parit Buntar area to lend their support to the siblings so that they can help support their family.

In a Facebook post, photos of the siblings show them sitting on some steps outside a Maybank branch with a basket full of Asam Laksa packets. They look no older than 10 years old.
