A number of roads in Kuala Lumpur (KL) will be closed this weekend (November 12-13, 2022).
This is due to the staging of the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) 2022, an international event which will see 34,000 local and international runners take to the streets of KL.
The race has 4 categories: 5 kilometers (km), 10 kilometers (km), 21 kilometers (km) half marathon, and 42 kilometers (km) full marathon and will start at 6am on Saturday (Nov 12, 2022).
The AKLEH and DUKE will also be closed for 12 hours from 11pm Saturday (Nov 12) to 11am Sunday (Nov 13).

Using public transportation
Race participants and members of the public are advised to use public transportation and for their convenience, selected LRT and MRT services will be complimentary from 4:30am on Saturday (Nov 12) and 1:30 am on Sunday (Nov 13), and will run at intervals of 15 minutes, courtesy of organizer Dirigo Events.
