Several international schools around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor were reported to have received bomb threats on Tuesday (21 November).

According to a report by Sinar Harian, the Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed this matter when contacted.

“There are 7 international schools in Selangor in the districts of Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Kajang, Subang Jaya and Kuala Langat that received the threat. The investigation is still ongoing and it is believed to be a false threat,” he shared.

Meanwhile, the Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid said that for Kuala Lumpur, 2 international schools in Wangsa Maju received bomb threats via e-mail and the Bomb Disposal Unit is still investigating this matter.
