A series of CCTV footage shared by @anthraxxx781 has been making the rounds online, showing 2 masked robbers breaking into a house in Johor during a robbery.

In one of the videos, the suspects, wearing gloves and armed with weapons such as machetes and crowbars, were seen entering the victim’s house.

One of the suspects hid by the gate

Sinar Harian reported that one of the suspects hid by the gate with a sharp weapon while a white car, said to be driven by another suspect, pulled into the porch.

Inside the house, one of the suspects started looking for valuables while a woman and a child were spotted sleeping on a sofa.

A little later, 2 other men, believed to be family members, arrived and tried to inspect the white car. However, the suspects attacked them with machetes, leaving one of the victims injured in the scuffle.

The suspects started running the engine of the white car and rammed it into an SUV and a motorcycle parked in front of the house before speeding off.

Police found the white car abandoned in Melaka

In a police statement, Muar Deputy District Police Chief, Superintendent Muhammad Aidil Roneh Abdullah, said the report regarding the robbery was received at 6:20 PM on December 17 (Tuesday).

The 2 suspects involved in the armed robbery are now being hunted, and their getaway car was found in Melaka on Wednesday, December 18.

“The police rushed to the scene after receiving the information. 2 suspects are believed to be involved in this incident. The police found the vehicle used by the suspects abandoned in Jasin, Melaka,” he said.

The case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code.
