Just last week, Malaysians were shocked when CCTV footage of a female staff who was raped by two robbers while she was working in a gambling den in Bandar Kinrara were circulated widely on social media.
The inhumane robbers not only took their own sweet time robbing the place but after doing so, they even took turns raping the poor female staff on duty. Police have confirmed that the owner of the outlet has come forward and made a police report on Saturday, so action can finally be taken!
The police formed a special task force to investigate and they have managed to arrest one of the suspects, a 26-year-old man.
While hunting for the other culprit, they received news last night that the suspect was hiding in one of the units on the 12th floor of PPR Seri Semarak and headed there at around 11.00pm to bring him in for custody. The 22-year-old man panicked when the police burst into the unit and fled to the kitchen.
When he found out that he was cornered, in a moment of fear, he actually tried to escape by jumping out of the window.
As the policemen heard objects dropping in the kitchen, they went to have it checked out and found the suspect clinging to the grille outside the kitchen. According to The Sun, they tried persuading the man to come back inside but he refused and that’s when he lost his grip and fell, right in front of the police’s eyes.
After him falling 12-storeys, the police rushed down to where the suspect had fallen to check his injuries.
He sustained heavy injuries from his fall and was rushed to the hospital for treatment but he died as his injuries were too severe.
Apparently, the suspects were detained for suspicious behaviour after the incident, but was initially released because the police had not received any robbery report at that time.
Kudos to the police for the quick action in tracking down the suspects!
