The live-action Snow White movie has been postponed to the year 2025.
On 27 October, Disney officially announced the release of its live-action Snow White movie starring actress Rachel Zegler will be postponed until 21 March 2025. This is a one-year delay from its initial release date, 22 March 2024.
Besides Disney’s Snow White live-action remake, Pixar’s animated movie Elio which features an eleven-year-old boy named Elio who transports across the galaxy and accidentally becomes the intergalactic ambassador of planet Earth, has also been delayed from 1 March 2024 to 13 June 2025, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Moreover, the movie Magazine Dreams which is scheduled to release in December this year has also been removed by Disney from its December 2023 calendar.
The movie stars actor Jonathan Majors, who plays the role of Kang and He Who Remains in the Marvel movies, and the decision is expected due to the actor’s misdemeanour assault and harassment charges.
Earlier, Rachel Zegler who will be playing Snow White faced backlash on the internet for her interview, in which she seemed to “trash” the original Snow White movie.
