PSA: 15 Routes On DUKE Highway Will Be Closed Beginning 11pm Tonight

If you frequently use the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) or are planning to use the highway tonight, do take note that you may have to find an alternative as several routes on the highway will be closed for 12 hours starting 11pm tonight (12 November 2022). The road closures will last until 11am on 13 November 2022 in order to make way for the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon.

As reported by Bernama, Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara Timur Sdn Bhd in a statement has notified road users to use alternative routes within the specified time period and elaborated that traffic police officers will be mobilised to monitor and ensure public safety. Here are all the affected routes:

1. Hillview junction entryway for both directions towards Hulu Kelang-Ampang
2. Entryway from the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) at Hillview Junction
3. Entryway at Jalan 37/56, Taman AU2 Keramat roundabout
4. Entryway after the Desa Tun Hussein Onn Camp, Jalan Jelatek towards DUKE;
5. Entryway through Jalan Semarak (Police Training Centre and the Ministry of Defence)
6. Entryway at Jalan Ayer Jerneh, Setapak
7. Entryway at the Bandar Dalam traffic light junction towards DUKE
8. The main route from Greenwood/Karak will be diverted to Bandar Dalam Junction, Bandar Baru Sentul and Jalan Gombak
9. Entryway via Jalan Pahang ramp for both directions towards Sentul Pasar toll plaza and Batu toll plaza
10. Entryway via Tiara Titiwangsa ramp
11. Entryway via Sentul ramp near Plaza Ong Tai Kim
12. Entryway to DUKE Phase 2 (Tun Razak Link) from Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) and World Trade Centre (WTC)
13. Sentul Pasar Tambahan toll plaza from Gombak towards HKL or the city centre
14. Entryway to DUKE from Kampung Puah and Ekovest Berhad towards Batu toll plaza
15. Jalan Ipoh entryway and exit via DUKE
