In another incredibly heart-warming move by local companies in Malaysia to help front-line workers in their fight against the Covid-19 outbreak here, Proton, Malaysia’s first national car-maker, has decided to make a generous contribution to the cause, as reported by See Hua News.
Doing what they do best, which is manufacturing cars for Malaysians, the car-maker has loaned over 50 Proton X70 SUVs to the Malaysian Ministry of Health, in hopes of aiding front-line medical workers who have been working around the clock to keep Malaysians safe from the Covid-19 outbreak.
The vehicles are said to be used to transport medical workers to and from work when needed, while also sending medical staff to heavily affected areas of the Covid-19 outbreak in Malaysia in comfort. Bear in mind, some of these SUVs can cost upwards of RM122,800 in its highest specification, according to Proton’s official website!
We hope that these vehicles will be of help to medical personnel who are working tirelessly to serve the nation during this time, and thank Proton for assisting them in the fight against Covid-19!
