PAS has officially retained the east coast states of Kelantan and Terengganu after achieving a simple majority in both states.

In an official statement by the Election Commission (SPR), PAS defended the state of Terengganu by a simple majority of 17 seats as of 10.12pm on 12 August.

Meanwhile, PAS officially retained the state of Kelantan after achieving a simple majority of 23 seats.

Do note that PAS may well win more seats as votes are still being counted but they are already confirmed to win the two states as no other parties or coalitions can catch up with them.

Accordingly, PAS will be given the mandate to form the state government in the state. For the latest official results and news on the 2023 State Elections (PRN), do stay tuned to WORLD OF BUZZ!
